Practical task examples

Copy these requests and adapt the materials, scope, and output format to your own work. Each example includes something concrete to check.

On this page

Meeting summaries

Provide notes or an existing transcript and the meeting date.

Try this request
Organize these notes into decisions, action items, disagreements, and open questions.
Include an owner and due date for each action, using “To confirm” when missing.
Finish with a short summary suitable for our team chat.

Check that suggestions are not presented as decisions and that owners and dates come from the source. An assistant cannot hear a recording you have not supplied.

Spreadsheet cleanup

Explain the columns and accounting rules before changes begin.

Try this request
Inspect the column names, missing values, and duplicates without changing the original.
Summarize sales by calendar month and list refunds separately.
Do not invent missing amounts. Show me the cleanup rules first.
After approval, create a cleaned copy and a short explanation.

Check currency, date range, duplicate rules, and row counts before and after processing. For charts, specify the axes and comparison you want.

Research with sources

For current information, request research dates and links. Website access depends on available tools, network access, and login state.

Try this request
Compare these three products for intended users, limitations, and public prices.
Prefer official sources and include links with the date checked.
Mark information you cannot find instead of guessing.
Deliver a comparison table and three questions I should ask before buying.

Open the sources and check that they support the conclusions and refer to comparable plans or specifications.

Reports and presentations

Specify the audience, goal, tone, and length. Approve an outline before requesting a formatted file.

Try this request
I need a ten-minute introduction for colleagues new to this project.
Propose a six-slide outline using the attachments, with one main idea per slide.
Flag unsupported claims and wait for approval before producing the file.
Use large type and concise text.

Check facts, logical order, layout, and file compatibility. Office formats may require suitable tools and skills.

Batch organization

Try this request
List the files in the folder I specify and propose a project-based structure.
Keep the originals. Process three samples for me to check first.
After I approve the rules, put copies of the rest in a new organized folder.

Check counts, naming conflicts, omissions, and preservation of originals. Ask for a processing checklist.

When a method works repeatedly, turn it into a skill. Use schedules for work that should run at a set time.
